I’m Sophia, an equine photographer and lifelong horse person based in the Hudson Valley. I understand that the relationship between a person and their horse isn’t just a pastime. It’s woven into daily life, routine, and identity, and that understanding shapes the way I photograph every session.
My approach is calm, intentional, and grounded in connection. I focus on creating imagery that feels honest and lasting rather than overly styled or performative. The goal is not perfection, but photographs that still feel true with time.
It’s common to feel hesitant in front of the camera or to worry about how you’ll look in photographs. My approach is centered on creating a comfortable, unhurried experience where you and your horse can simply be yourselves. That’s where the most meaningful images are made.

To be officially booked, a 20% nonrefundable deposit and signed contract is required to hold your spot.
preparation
You will receive my Preparation Guide to help you select outfits and prepare your horse for our session.
Image Delivery
Your edited images will be delivered via an online gallery with high-resolution images. You may also order prints through your gallery.
